UWM has secured a $400,000 grant from the National Science Foundation's Campus Cyberinfrastructure program to upgrade the computing facilities used across all disciplines. The proposal was led by UWM Physics professor Phil Chang, who recruited 11 other researchers across disciplines such as astrophysics, atmospheric sciences, cancer research, genomics, fluid dynamics, biophysics, and quantum mechanics.
CGCA faculty Sarah Vigeland and David Kaplan were also included on the grant.
