Parker Center for Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics in partnership with the Manfred Olson Planetarium is to welcome you to Join UWM's new Professor, Dr. Lia Medeiros, as she discusses how telescopes all over the world came together to take the first ever image of a black hole and how she used this image to test Einstein's theory of gravity. She will also discuss how she used her new machine learning algorithm to make the highest resolution image of a black hole to date.
