The UWM Astronomy Club meets weekly to discuss Astronomy Research, Astronomy in the news, and related topics. It is run by UWM faculty Sarah Vigeland, Dawn Erb and David Kaplan.

STARS@UWM

STARS (Student Team of Astrophysics ResearcherS) @UWM effort has our participants work with students and researchers from other North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational Waves (NANOGrav) institutions. They control the worlds largest radio telescopes, look for new pulsars and help to discover gravitational waves. David Kaplan and Sarah Vigeland (faculty) lead STARS@UWM.
